Day 01 Arrive in Mumbai

You arrive in Mumbai on your own. We shall meet with you at the airport exit, assist you to the waiting car/coach outside & escort you the the hotel. Rest a while before leaving for a city tour in the afternoon. On this trip you see the majestic gateway of India, the Mani Bhawan (Mahatma Gandhi’s Residence in Mumbai) & the Victoria terminus before returning to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 Mumbai

have breakfast at the hotel. Leave by a sea ferry for the Elephanta caves located on the island at the deep east end of the India ocean. See the ancient Shiva temple & other rock structure here before returning in the afternoon to Mumbai. Later you visit the Prince of Wales museum, Dhobhi Ghat ( Washermen citadel), Dharavi slums & the Marine drive. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 Mumbai - Mangalore - Drive to Bekal/Nileshwar ( 90 minutes flight followed by a 2 hr drive)

You arrive in Mangalore on your own. You shall be greeted & assisted by the company representative on your arrival. Later you drive straight to Bekal (65 kms- 90 minutes). Bekal is a beach getaway in North Kerala near Mangalore and is visited for its peaceful environment, luxury hotels/resorts & pristine beaches. It shall also offer you a good cultural experience during your visit. You shall drive at leisure stopping by at some scenic spots & capturing these in your lens forever. Retire for the night at a beach resort & Spa in Nileshwar.

Day 04 Bekal

Have breakfast in the morning. Leave for a day of exploration to Bekal fort. Bekal Fort overlooks Arabian Sea and offers admirable views. The famous Bollywood movie “Bombay” by the legendary Mani Ratnam was shot here in Bekal. Relax at the Bekal beach. See Pandiyan Kallu (Rock Cliff), Nileshwaram palace, Chandragiri fort a 17th century fort set 150 feet above sea level & the Ananathpura Temple. Traditionally renowned as “Manjula Kshetra” and “The temple of 18 towns”, Srimad Anantheshwar Temple is situated in Manjeshwar. The origin of the Temple dates more than a thousand years back and is very significant for the GSB (Gauda Saraswat Brahmin) community.

Day 05 Bekal – Coorg /Madikeri (120 kms, 2-3 hrs)

Today after breakfast, you leave Bekal for Coorg. Situated at 2500-3500 ft. above the sea level at a distance of 125 kms from Nileshwar & 150 minutes of drive, you check in your hotel upon reaching, later in the afternoon, you shall set out to explore this scenic town. Coorg is renowned for its Coffee Plantations, Luxury Resorts / Home stays and salubrious climate all round the year.. Evening shall be at leisure.

Day 06 Coorg

After an early morning breakfast, you leave for a full day excursion of the little yet breathtakingly beautiful town of Coorg. Here you shall visit the Dubare Elephant camp (Elephant ride, Coracle Ride), Tibetan Monastery and Cauvery NisargaDhama (Open Zoo). You shall also explore the local market and may be enjoy a typical Kodagu Cuisine in between site hopping. Later you visit Abbey Falls and Omkareshwar temple before retiring for the night stay.

Day 07 Coorg -Wayanad (110 kms, 2-3 hrs)

After the morning breakfast, you leave for Wayanad. Located in North Kerala, Wayanad is a greenish carpet like area renowned for its huge Rainforest reserves. It has in abundance various tea gardens, hill resorts and a salubrious climate all round the year. Check in your hotel. Rest a little & get ready for sightseeing to places such as Edakkal Caves, Pookode Lake for Boating etc. Also visit Soochipara Waterfalls & the Ancient Jain Temple. Stay overnight but not before an evening visit to Banasurasagar Dam (18 kms). Return & stay overnight here.

Day 08 Wayanad

Day 09 Wayanad- Mysore (125 kms, 2-3 hrs)

Have breakfast early in the morning. Set out for Mysore, the illustrious town & history to many an epic battle. You cover a distance of 130 kms approx in 160 minutes & check in your hotel upon reaching. Later you leave for the famous Brindavan Gardens. The Brindavan Garden is a world famous place known for its ethereal beauty, grandeur and illumination/ musical fountain. It is one of the most beautifully laid out terrace gardens in the world. Located in the Krishna raja Sagar dam site & modeled on the design of the Shalimar Gardens of Kashmir in the Mughal style, the garden is enriched with a number of terraces, parterres, fountains, running and cascading water channels, water chutes, lush green lawns, flower beds, shrubs and trees.

Day 10 Mysore

After breakfast at the hotel, you visit the;

Maharaja’s Palace

It is the official residence and seat of the Wodeyars the Mahararajas of Mysore, the former royal family of Mysore, who ruled the princely state of Mysore from 1399 to 1950. Mysore Palace is one of the most magnificent buildings in Mysore. It is a sight not to be missed when it is illuminated on Sundays and festive occasions. The interior of the Palace is equally worth a visit, for its spacious halls, paintings and architectural beauty. The palace is an excellent combination of Indo-Saracenic architecture.

Chamundi Hill

Is famous worldwide for its scenic beauty & the Chamundi temple atop. Chamundi or Durga is the fierce form of Shakti as she is the slayer of demons, chanda & Munda as also mahis asura the buffalo headed monster. She is held in great esteem by people all over.

Big Bull

Halfway down Chamundi Hill is Nandi the bull, Lord Shiva’s vehicle. It is quite an impressive sculpture, five meters high and carved from a single piece of black granite in 1659. Legend claims that it was built in a single night. It is the third largest Nandi in India.

Besides you also see the St. Philomena’s Church, Jagan Mohan Palace (Art Gallery) and the Zoo. Stay overnight at Mysore.

Day 11 Mysore - Nagarhole/(Kabini (70 kms, 1 1/2 hrs)

Have breakfast in the morning at the hotel. Later you drive to Kabini. Upon reaching you check into your hotel/resort. It is a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, which is commonly known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park

Or Rajiv Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary, The prominent animals that can be spotted in the park are tigers, sloth bears, civets, four-horned antelopes, wild boars, sambhars, flying foxes, elephants, spotted deer, panthers, and Indian bison. You may get to see birds like grey hornbill and various reptiles such as crocodiles, pythons and cobras in the park during your Safari.

Day 12 Kabini at leisure

After breakfast in the morning, you go for a Nature walk / jungle Safari in the woods. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 13 Kabini – Bangalore (210 kms, 3-4 hrs)

After breakfast you leave for Bangalore. Stop by some vantage places for coffee & stretching your legs. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Relax & freshen yourself before leaving to explore the city of Gardens.

Lal Bagh is one of India’s most beautiful botanical gardens. This garden laid out by Hyder Ali & later looked after by his son has about 1000 species of rare plants and herbs & is a constant source of calm, Joy & peace for the nature lovers.

Vidana Soudha

Vidhana Soudha is the political seat of Karnataka where lawmakers sit & debate. An architectural marvel, this Bangalore granite structure is a testimony to the grand temple architecture that thrived centuries ago. It is 46 meters in height & is Bangalore’s best known landmark.

Art Gallery & Museum

The Venkatappa Art Gallery is situated in the Karnataka Government Museum. It exhibits some of the rich art of Bangalore. The Art Gallery is comprised of two floors and displays 600 paintings. The government museum was established in the year 1865. The museum has exhibits of antiquities from Mohenjadaro and terracotta from Mathura. It contains traditional paintings also.

ISCKON temple

The Temple is a dainty blend of modern technology and spiritual harmony with a unique combination of glass and gopurams. It is built on a hillock. The surroundings are beautiful. This temple was built to promote vedic culture and spiritual learning .Thousands of devotees attend the annual Krishna and Balarama Rath Yatra
