DAY WISE ITINERARY

Day 01 Arrival in Delhi

You arrive in Delhi on your own. We shall meet with you at the airport exit & assist you to the waiting car/coach outside. Escort you to the hotel for check in & overnight stay.

Day 02 Delhi

After breakfast at the hotel, you leave for a full day tour of Old & New Delhi. You visit the Red fort, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, go on cycle rickshaw to the illustrious Chandni chowk & to Asia’s largest spice market. In the afternoon you switch over to the Lutyen’s Delhi visiting Humayun’s tomb and Qutab Minar part from driving past the India gate & the President house.

Day 03, Delhi - Mandawa (225 kms, 4 -5 hrs)

After early breakfast at the hotel, you start your tour of the Shekhawati region. This day takes you to Madawa, north of Jaipur in Rajasthan and inhabited by the Rajputs and the Marwari’s or the trader community by and large. Upon arrival you check into a Hotel.

Day 04 Mandawa

Have breakfast at the hotel. Leave in right earnest for an excursion to Nawalgarh to see the famed painted havelis. Return in the afternoon. Relax a while before walking to the Mandawa town market for a leisurely trip. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 05 Mandawa - Bikaner (175 kms, 3-4 hrs)

After breakfast in Mandawa, you leave for Bikaner the camel town. After arriving here, you check in the hotel. Rest a while before leaving for a late afternoon sightseeing of the city. Apart from the usual sight hopping, you may visit the camel breeding farm, time permitting. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06 Bikaner - Jaisalmer (325 kms, 5-6 hrs)

Have breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Deshnok, where you will see the karni Mata Temple, also called the Rat Temple. Quite mysteriously people here worship the rodents and protect and feed them all day long. This is in itself a spectacle. Later you visit the Junagadh fort, an imposing ancient structure that is witness to many a battle by the royalty.

Late afternoon, you set off for the desert town Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, you check in the hotel. Stay overnight.

Day 07 Jaisalmer

You have a day at your own command today. After a hearty breakfast, you leave for a city tour of the sand city with its magnificent yellow sandstone structures, the splendid palaces and havelis with intricate carvings, latticed windows and ‘jharokas’ or balconies, showcasing the artistry of the Rajasthani craftsmanship at its best. The Jaisalmer fort is one the best in Rajasthan.

In the afternoon, you visit the Sam Sand dunes on camel backs. Enjoy the sunset here. Return in the evening to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 08 Jaisalmer- Manvar (155 kms, 2-3 hrs)

Today you are slated for a camp retreat in Manvar, a good 3 hours drive from the desert city Jaisalmer. Upon arrival, you relax for the afternoon at the camp. Enjoy the sun setting over the vast horizon being on camel backs. Have dinner at the dunes & immerse yourself in the local folk entertainment. Overnight at Camp or resort.

Day 09 Manvar - Jodhpur (110 kms, 2-3 hrs)

Have breakfast in the morning. Later drive to the Sun city or the blue city of Jodhpur. The city was named after Rao Jodha, the chief of Rajput clan. After arrival you check in your hotel. Rest & relax a while before leaving for a sightseeing trip of Jodhpur. On this trip you see the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada (Cenotaphs), Mandore Gardens and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Retire for the night at the hotel.

Day 10 Jodhpur - Udaipur (255 kms, 4-5 hrs)

Through with the blue city, you leave for another Rajasthan gem, the city of lakes, Udaipur. On the way, you stop  by the famous Ranakpur Jain Temples, one of the five most important Jain pilgrimage sites. Upon arrival in Udaipur you check in you hotel. Rest of the evening is free.

Day 11 Udaipur

This is a beautiful day of sight hopping in Udaipur. A romantic collection of exotic gardens filled with blossoming trees and fantasy island palaces shimmering in mirror-calm lakes awaits you on this trip.

First up in the morning city, you visit the city palace with its museum. The Other attractions comprise of Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Saheliyon ki Bari, Shilpgram, Fateh Sagar, Eklingji. Return in the evening but not before having enjoyed a sunset boat cruise on Lake Pichola.

Day 12 Udaipur - Deogarh (120 kms, 2-3 hrs)

You have breakfast in the morning. Later check out & drive to Deogarh. Deogarh is renowned for its miniature paintings. The Deogarh school bears a close affinity to the Mewari art form. On arrival stay at a beautiful Deogarh Mahal for the night. Rest of the evening is at leisure & for some YOU time.

Day 13 Deogarh - Jaipur ( 270 kms, 4-5 hrs)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Pack up & start driving to Jaipur. It is also known as the Pink City or the city of victory. A marvelous synthesis of architectural influences – Hindu, Jain & Mughal. It is a well planned city of ancient times. Most tourists visit Jaipur for its grand monuments, but there are endless shopping places as well. The most popular items are jewellery, textiles and handicrafts. On arrival at Jaipur check in your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 Jaipur

Have breakfast at the hotel.  Later leave for Amber, the ancient capital of the region. En -route see the beautiful Jal Mahal lake. Later in the afternoon, you weave through the lively streets of the Jaipur City and visit the pink sandstone Palace of Winds, City Palace with its museum and Jantar Mantar (18 century observatory). Retire for the night at the hotel .

Day 15 Jaipur - Agra (240 kms, 3-4 hrs)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you check out of the hotel and drive to the wonder city of Taj, Agra. On the way you visit the Ghost City of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue driving to Agra where you check in your hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure.

Agra is the home of the Taj Mahal – one of the Wonders of the World. Shah Jahan, the mughal emperor built this mausoleum in remembrance of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal.
Note:- Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

Day 16 Agra - Delhi (230 kms , 3-4 hrs)

Even before you had had your breakfast, you visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise time. Enjoy the unparalleled beauty, grandeur & charm of the regal edifice in its prime by the morning sun. Return to your hotel for breakfast. later in the day you go on a city tour visiting the Agra Fort & the craft bazaar. Your Tryst with Regal Rajasthan Tour finishes today.

You drive to the international airport in Delhi for your return flight home. We see you off at the airport & wish you a safe flight.
